All-on-4 and Full Mouth Dental Implant Cost in Chennai
At Luxe Dental Clinic in Velachery, All-on-4 dental implants start from ₹1,50,000 per jaw; your final price is confirmed in a written estimate after your check-up. All-on-4 replaces all the teeth in one jaw, called a full arch, with a fixed set of teeth held by four implants. “Full mouth” usually means both jaws, which costs more than one. The total also depends on the number of implants, any extractions or bone grafts, and the material of the final teeth.
Key points
- All-on-4 starts from ₹1,50,000 per jaw at our clinic; the final price is confirmed after your check-up. Treating both jaws (full mouth) costs more.
- All-on-4 uses four implants per jaw. All-on-6 uses six and usually costs more.
- Extractions, bone grafts and the material of the final teeth change the total.
- When you compare quotes, check whether each price is per jaw or for both jaws.

All-on-4 price at our Velachery clinic
Dental implants are one of our specialised services. All-on-4 starts from ₹1,50,000 per jaw. This is a starting price: the final price depends on your case and is confirmed in a written estimate after your check-up. If both jaws need treatment, the estimate shows the total for both, along with the implants, the temporary teeth and the final teeth. Cash, UPI and cards are accepted, and you can ask about payment options for your plan.
What All-on-4 and full mouth implants are
All-on-4 replaces every tooth in one jaw with one fixed arch of teeth held by four implants. The back two implants are often tilted to make use of the bone that is there. All-on-6 uses six implants. The Cleveland Clinic patient guide to dental implants describes full-arch treatment as several implants, usually four to six, supporting a full arch of teeth. Full mouth treatment means doing this in both jaws. You clean around a fixed arch every day with a brush and interdental brushes or a water flosser, and your dentist may take it off at some maintenance visits for a deeper clean.
What decides the cost of All-on-4 and full mouth implants
- One jaw or both. The starting price is per jaw, so treating both jaws costs more.
- Four implants or six. More implants mean more parts and longer surgery. Your bone and your bite decide which suits you.
- Removing remaining teeth. Loose or failing teeth are usually removed before or during the implant surgery.
- Bone grafting. All-on-4 is often planned to avoid grafts, but some jaws still need one.
- Temporary fixed teeth. Whether a temporary fixed set is included, and when it can be fitted.
- The final teeth. A final arch can be acrylic teeth on a metal frame, or zirconia or ceramic. These differ in look, strength, wear and price.
- Your general health. Diabetes, smoking and gum disease raise the risks and can change the plan.
How it compares with other options
| Option | Implants per jaw | Fixed or removable | Cost compared with All-on-4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| All-on-4 | 4 | Fixed | From ₹1,50,000 per jaw at our clinic (final price after a check-up) |
| All-on-6 | 6 | Fixed | Usually more |
| Separate implant bridges | About 6–8 | Fixed | Usually more |
| Implant-retained denture | 2–4 | Removable (clips on) | Usually less |
| Complete denture | None | Removable | Much less |
Dentures need no surgery, but they can move when you eat or talk, and they do not stop the jawbone shrinking. Read dentures vs dental implants, or see our dentures page.
What your estimate should include
- whether the price is for one jaw or both
- consultation, X-rays and planning
- extractions and any bone graft
- the implants and the connectors (abutments) that hold the teeth
- the temporary fixed teeth, if planned
- the final teeth and their material
- review visits during healing, and the first maintenance visits
The treatment steps at our clinic
- Consultation and planning. We examine your gums, remaining teeth and bone, take X-rays and ask about your general health. You receive a written plan and estimate.
- Preparation. Gum treatment where needed. If you have diabetes, it should be well controlled before surgery.
- Surgery. Under local anaesthesia, failing teeth are removed and the implants are placed, often in one sitting for each jaw.
- Temporary teeth. A temporary fixed set is often attached within a few days, if the implants are firm enough. You eat soft food at first.
- Healing. At our clinic, the implants are usually left to fuse with the bone for about 3–6 months; the FDA notes that implant healing may take several months or longer.
- Final teeth. Your final arch is made and fitted, and your bite is checked.
- Maintenance. Regular cleaning visits, and a night guard if you grind your teeth.
Risks and who may not be suitable
All-on-4 is surgery. Swelling, bruising and discomfort for a few days are common. Risks listed by the FDA include infection around the implant, numbness from nerve damage, sinus perforation and an implant that becomes loose.
Peri-implantitis is inflammation around an implant, linked to plaque bacteria, that destroys the bone holding it. A review for the 2017 World Workshop on periodontal and peri-implant diseases found strong evidence for three risk factors (Schwarz and colleagues, 2018). They are a history of periodontitis, poor plaque control and no regular maintenance.
The Cleveland Clinic guide notes that smoking can disrupt healing, and that unmanaged diabetes or severe bone loss can make implants unsuitable. If any of these apply, treatment may need to wait, or another plan may suit you better. We check this at the consultation; read how diabetes affects oral health.
Frequently asked questions
How much do All-on-4 dental implants cost in Chennai?
It depends on whether you need one jaw or both, the number of implants, any extractions or grafts, and the final teeth. At our Velachery clinic, All-on-4 starts from ₹1,50,000 per jaw; the final price is confirmed in a written estimate after your check-up.
Is the full mouth implant price per jaw?
At our clinic, yes: the All-on-4 starting price is per jaw. “Full mouth” usually means both jaws, so it costs more than one, while some people need only the upper or only the lower jaw. Your written estimate shows the total for your plan.
All-on-4 vs All-on-6: which costs more?
All-on-6 usually costs more, because it uses two extra implants and their parts. More is not automatically better. The right choice depends on how much bone you have, how strong your bite is, and how the chewing load needs to be shared. We explain which suits you after the X-rays.
Can I get fixed teeth on the same day with All-on-4?
Sometimes. A temporary fixed set is often attached within a few days, and occasionally the same day, if the implants are firm enough at surgery. If the bone is soft, the implants heal first and you wear a temporary denture. The final teeth follow after healing, usually about 3–6 months at our clinic.
How long do All-on-4 implants last?
With careful daily cleaning, not smoking, and maintenance visits as advised, All-on-4 implants can last many years. The FDA notes that regular cleaning of the implant and surrounding teeth is very important for long-term success. The teeth fixed to the implants may need repair or replacement over time; acrylic teeth wear faster than zirconia.
